Interethnic Relationships of Roma People
Research has shown that the proportion of interethnic couples in society is an indicator of the closeness of the majority and minority groups. The more a given minority group is integrated into society, the more this type of relationship can be observed. Furthermore, a minority group member’s integration into society can be improved by forming a relationship with someone from the majority group.
During my PhD studies, I started to work on the topic of Roma-Non-Roma interethnic relationships, where the focus of my research was on the relationship between interethnic relationships and integration.
